The short version
You can use this site without an account. Your measurements are used in your browser to draw your pattern and are not sent to us. If you choose to create an account and save projects, those saved projects are stored in our database so you can open them on other devices.
Without an account
- Your measurements, unit choice and fit settings are saved in your browser's local storage so they are there when you come back. Clearing your browser data removes them.
- Your pattern, the 3D preview and the PDF files are made in your browser. They are not uploaded anywhere.
- The Export button saves a small file to your computer. If you share that file, you are sharing your measurements.
With an account
If you create an account, we store:
- Your email address, so you can sign in and reset your password.
- A note that you said you are 18 or older, and when you agreed to the Terms.
- Your password, only in a scrambled (hashed) form handled by our sign-in provider. We never see or store the password itself.
- The projects you choose to save: a name you give it, the garment, your measurements, ease and seam allowance, and your default unit.
Each account can only read and change its own saved projects. You can delete any project yourself from your account page at any time, and you can delete the whole account there too, which removes your email, your sign-in and all your saved projects. We keep these until you delete them. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Who handles the data
Accounts and saved projects are stored with Supabase, which provides our database and sign-in. The site is served by Vercel, which, like any web host, may keep standard server logs such as your IP address and the pages you request, under its own privacy policy. We don't sell your data, and we don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Sign-in and your browser
When you sign in, your browser keeps a session so you stay signed in. It is removed when you sign out or clear your browser data.
